The Rickshaw Run 2010

Out on the road with the Exodus kitbags!

Earlier this year, Exodus agreed to sponsor Tom Hawes and his five intrepid journeymen on their quest to travel 3,000km across India in rickshaws! More than a unique adventure with a group of mates, this epic trip was organised in order to raise vital funds for two very worthy charities, Frank Water and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

Frank Water funds sustainable clean water projects in the developing countries across the world, while CRY works hard to raise awareness about cardiac related problems affecting young people.

The boys at the Taj MahalStarting up in the mountains of Sikkim in North Eastern India in September armed with their donated Exodus kitbags, this intrepid journey was to take them through the states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and eventually onto the beautiful desert state of Rajasthan in the west. But what would they encounter en route? Famous historic sites, new exotic cultures, native wildlife? Try potholes,  numerous breakdowns, floods and rabid dogs!
