Sri Lanka - Floods

Sri Lanka has experienced serious flooding in several parts of the country in recent weeks. The worst affected areas have been the eastern districts and we understand clients may be worried if their trip will be affected. We would like to reassure anyone due to travel that, while there has been some disruption in the areas around Kandy, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya, any damage was limited and has not affected tourist routes in any way. All the trips will be running as normal and there has been no change to our itineraries.

We are in close communication with our local operators, are monitoring the situation closely and will be in touch if we think there will be any ammendment to this advice, From today's news, the weather is getting warmer and dryer, bringing water levels down and hopefully this will continue, especially for the sake of the Sri Lankan people affected.
