News from Libya

With Libya having been in the news on a daily basis for six months my and many others thoughts have been with our Tripoli staff and those across the whole of Libya, many who I have had the privilege to work and travel with over the last decade.

Disturbingly we have had no contact with them at all but yesterday morning I received this message  from an old friend  in Tripoli. He was  looking forward to celebrating  Eid with his family safely under one roof with a proud new flag fluttering above it. The situation in his country remains volatile and there is a mountain to climb for the  N.T.C. but for many Libyans the dark days are behind them.

"At last we have access to internet. All here are fine and very very happy with the outcome of the ordeal. I speak on behalf of my colleagues, that we are truly grateful for all your concern and support. Things are getting calm and slowly back to normal in Tripoli. Please convey our very best to all at Exodus"
