Exodus in the Wanderlust Top 50 … Twice!

We are delighted to be featured not once but twice in the Wanderlust Top 50 Trips for 2012. Our Cycle Southern Iceland (MSI) and Everest North Col Expedition (TCC) both made the final cut, and deservedly so. These trips easily fulfil Wanderlust’s criteria: “new frontiers, original itineraries and once-in-a-lifetime events.”

Climbing the North Col is certainly that. This one-off departure is quite literally once in a lifetime and places are limited. Follow in the footsteps of Mallory and Irvine, a 26 day journey culminating in a fixed-rope climb to the North Col. The views can only be surpassed by the immense sense of personal accomplishment upon reaching that 7,066m pinnacle.

Iceland is not a country readily associated with biking, which is the very reason it is perfect for it. Roads are quiet and the otherworldly, near-Arctic landscape of geysers, volcanoes and waterfalls is simply monumental. The breath-taking beauty can be truly appreciated when routes are this safe. Not to be missed.
