Daily Telegraph’s Picture of the Day

The world's best known leopard has been photographed with a very young cub. Zawadi, (the name means 'the gift' in Maasai) a cat made famous by BBC's Big Cat Diary, has given birth at a very ripe old age.

Daily Telegraph: Picture of the Day

Photographer and Exodus guide Paul Goldstein, who took these shots, said: 'I have never seen a cub this young before and as I have spent more time with this animal over the years than any other it was quite a moment. These spotted cats rarely live beyond 12, so to give birth at 16 is unheard of.'

Paul has spent much of the last three days now with this one parent family, want to see the whole spotted portfolio, then come to the RGS on 12 April for Predators on the Edge.
