Pippa Middleton goes mad for cross-country skiing

The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister will be taking part in a 90km cross-country skiing race this weekend.  Sweden's Vasaloppet cross-country skiing race takes place every year and attracts over 16,000 competitors. Not only is it a chance for Miss Middleton to raise money for charity, it’s also an excellent way to keep fit and healthy during the winter months.

If Pippa’s inspired you, Exodus has a number of cross-country skiing marathons to join. There are still spaces on the Switzerland Engadin ski marathon (starts this Monday, so you better get your skis on if you want to take part!) and the Norwegian Birkebeiner ski race (starts 13th March this year).
