Talk the talk? Now it’s time to Walk the Walk!

Zambia Project: Helen Adams at Chikumbi Community Centre

Exodus is delighted to announce a fundraising day in support of our Responsible Travel project in Zambia.

Organised by the charity Baraka Community Partnerships, the fundraiser is a beautiful walk along the River Thames on Sunday 24 June (so fingers crossed for sunny skies!). Led by Andy McKee, Exodus’ inspirational tour leader and spearhead of numerous charitable enterprises here at Exodus, the walk will be approximately 10 miles, following the picturesque towpath along the riverbank from Richmond to Shepperton.

To follow in Andy’s footsteps on the day, simply click here to see the Virgin Money page for the walk. You can sign up for the walk, or if you can’t make it in person be there in spirit by donating. Any amount given will be automatically doubled by the Baraka Match Fund for 2012, so now really is the time to show your support.

For more information about the cause, take a look at our Zambia project page online. Or to really get involved, why not consider our Zambian Volunteering departure for September – places are still available so book early to avoid disappointment.
