This was my frist holiday travelling on my own. Sri-Lanka is a facinating place. The people are wellcoming and helpful. I arranged a 3 day tour around the main sites going to the elephant santuary and later riding an elephant which was an experience. And also visiting the temple of the tooth. a jeep safari in a national park. and the tea plantations and lovely waterfalls in the hills. I also visited were the sunami hit the coast of sri-lanka and the large memorial of a Budda next to the cemetary were thousands of local people lost their lives. i recommend this trip lots to do and see.
