On 09 November 2006, Exodus was awarded the coveted title of 'Most Environmentally Responsible Tour Operator' at the annual British Travel Awards 2006.
Exodus, a true pioneer of responsible tourism, is thrilled to have been recognised for its dedication and commitment. The company was praised for having an environmental ethos running through the core of the entire company culture, from its head office operations in the UK, to its guides and leaders worldwide.
Best tour operator in Responsible Tourism awards 2004
Exodus has been awarded the "Best tour operator" award in the 2004 Responsible tourism awards and joint overall winners (with Calabash
Trust and Tours) in all categories. This prestigious award is judged by an independent panel of highly respected people and is sponsored by First Choice, a leader in travel CSR and our parent company.
We are delighted to have won the award, but we recognise that we are by no means perfect and that we have a great deal still to do, and we will continue to drive Responsible Tourism as a core value within the company. We believe that we won as a result of many years of hard work by our staff, our partners overseas, and also our customers who really provide much of the drive and who represent Exodus on the ground in over 90 countries.
