Top Ten Local Community Trips
All of our trips are designed and operated with Responsible Tourism at the forefront of our considerations, however some trips will inevitably provide you with a greater emphasis on interaction with the communities which we are visiting. The following ten trips best reflect one of the three elements that we consider essential in defining a trip as a 'Community Tour', these elements are:
- one or more nights are spent in a locally run and operated homestay, village house or camp.
- time is spent visiting and working with a specific family or co-operative within a local community
- the trip visits a local Community Based Tourism Incentive (CBTI) programme.
