Any one else travelling on 23rd May? I think the group comprises sixteen in all.

Hi, my name's Rik. I'm 47 and travelling solo on this trip. I've never been further than Italy on my usual holidays so looking forward to this one. I've done a crach course in Arabic - also looking forward to Petra!

Very impressed re the crash course in Arabic. Liz and I spend a little time travelling since our retirement. I have had very favourable reports on Syria from a previous work colleague and in addition it is somewhat off the usual tourist trail.

Thanks. I think certain well known politicians have tried to demonise countries like Syria. I'd like to see for myself and experience a new culture. It should be an exciting trip! Toothwright sounds very much like code for retired dentist!
