AIN - Delhi to Katmandu - Vaccinations

Hi. Im going on this trip October 11. I was wondering what jobs other people were planning to have. In the Exodus trip notes they advise to have Hep A, Tetanus, Typhoid, Polio, Diptheia & Malaria Prophylaxis, then it also mentions consulting your local GP. Well I contacted my GP and they have advised me to also have a jab for Meningcoccal Infection, Hep B, Japanese Encepalitis & Rabies. These extra ones add up to £415.. I don't mind if you really do need them. But thought I'd ask what other people were having also.. Any advise would be much appreciated.. Gemma

Hi Gemma, Thanks for your post. I think you will find the trip notes pretty accurate however we always advise you to contact a GP or travel clinic for upto date advice. Can I suggest that you contact a Travel Health Clinic as their expertise is greater and they will be able to advise you based more on this itinerary, the time you are there the type of accommodation etc. You will see in the trip notes that we have a relationship with Nomad Travel Stores and Clinics; this company know all about the kinds of trips we do and will be able to give you accurate advise; (you can also get 15% of kit and 10% off vaccinations with them). Many thanks, Katherine Tory - India Product Manager

I am going 8th Jan and have had Hep A, Tetanus, Typhoid, Polio, Diptheia & Malaria Prophylaxis.
