Land of the tiger march 22nd 2014 - Who's going?

Anybody else going on this trip?

I am looking forward to going just had jabs as precaution but am not sure about malaria tablets the pharmacist recommended just a spray has anybody any thoughts on the treatment for maleria.

I've never been recommended a spray before so don't know it it is any good or not.

Our doctors have always recommended tablets. Generally the more you pay the less side effects come with the tablets. Malarone are meant to be the best. They are 1 tablet a day. You need to start taking them 2 days before we enter india, during the holiday and for 5 days after we leave Bandhavgarh for Agra.

Doctors offered us £3 per tablet on NHS
We got a private script for £10 and bought the tablets from Lloyd's pharmacy online for £2.25 per tablet.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that info I shall get some of the malarone.
