Solo travel is on the increase and it’s no wonder with the great sense of freedom it offers as well as the incredible adventures to be experienced. But we understand that some may want to have an experienced guide with local knowledge on hand, while also having the opportunity to meet people along the way, which is why we keep solo travellers in mind when planning our guided group tours.

1. Meet a small group of like-minded travellers

At Exodus, we have a diverse selection of tours that aim to bring together like-minded solo travellers who can travel together and share their experiences. On each of our guided group tours, we guarantee small group sizes of between 4 and 20.

2. Diverse itineraries

We want you to get the most out of your trip so we painstakingly create diverse itineraries that not only let you get under the skin of each destination, they also encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone so that you feel exhilarated and enjoy the best possible experiences.

On our Mt Toubkal Winter Climb, you’ll reach North Africa’s highest peak using crampons and ice axes to cross the deep snowy terrain. Whilst much of this trek can be strenuous even for seasoned walkers, it makes the views from the summit even more rewarding.

3. Safety in numbers

Our guided group tours offer the best of both worlds – although you can still travel independently, safe in the knowledge that your expert guide will always put your safety first, meaning you can explore with peace of mind. On many of our guided tours, including Mont Blanc Highlights, there is allocated time for you to explore cities and towns at your own leisure and on your own schedule.

4. Expert and knowledgeable guides

At Exodus, all our guides have expert knowledge about the local areas, so you can rest assured you’ll be visiting all the best places and uncovering lots of hidden gems along the way. Not only does this save you the legwork and a great amount of time planning your own travel itinerary, but your guide can also impart fascinating facts about the places you visit, which you might never have discovered otherwise.

5. Immerse yourself in new cultures

Our guided group holidays are designed to give you an in-depth understanding of each destination as well as giving give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture and traditions. We don’t do sightseeing tours at Exodus, we create once-in-a-lifetime experiences. When you book our Week in Jordan, for example, you’ll stay at a Bedouin camp, enjoying traditional Zarb dinners in the evening, while getting a unique insight into the Bedouin music and culture. It’s these kinds of up-close-and-personal experiences that make your solo travel trip with Exodus simply unforgettable.
