    Very good

An enjoyable trip although the cross country skiing was very limited due to icy conditions and limited trails around the hotel. The trip did not start well as Easy Jet managed to leave my baggage at Gatwick (along with 3 other members of the group). I was not surprised that this had happened as the check-in was extremely busy and chaotic. I would recommend that Exodus used another airline in future. My case baggage arrived 2 days later. Fortunately, the leader was able to lend me some ski wear. However, I was still left without a change of clothes for the evening and nothing for overnight. The local area only had a small supermarket where I was able to purchase essential toiletries. Most of our meals were taken in the hotel restaurant. It would have been a good idea to have have incorporated this cost into the trip price as there was no option to eat elsewhere. One evening we did go out by bus to a 'Farm House' for an evening meal. I thought it was extremely overpriced and pretentious and wished that I had eaten in our hotel. I was unable to eat most of the meal (I wasn't expecting so much onion or tapioca) and came away very hungry!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

    Going 'bogshoeing'!

What did you think of your group leader?

Kristel was excellent. A very positive and hard working young lady that made the most of the poor snow conditions. She also did her best to resolve any issues and kept the group smiling. I can't praise her enough!

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I would have preferred to have stayed another night at Otepaa rather than spending so much time in Talinn. More me, the focus of this trip was skiing not sightseeing.

    Cross-country skiing in Estonia

Let me begin by saying that this was an excellent trip. Estonia doesn’t have the mountains of Norway but it it does have forests in spades. If you want relatively easy skiing on quiet tracks this is the trip for you. I think the exodus grade of 3 is too high and a 2 would be be more appropriate. Not sure that there is much value in the time spent in Tallinn. Beautiful city but visit on a city break. Impossible to finish this review without mention of our guide Kristel. Kristel was an amazing guide/leader. I have been on a number of trips and Kristel is one of the best. She encouraged us, gave plenty of hugs, and went out of her way to make our trip memorable. Somehow she sorted out biathlon shooting (think about this - how many times do you get to shoot real rifles, watching ski jumpers, and night skiing. If I were Exodus ZI’d sign her up as leader for as many trips as possible .

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

    Kristey
