Chianti Walking and Wine Tour - 31 August 2019

Hi tripmates!  My name is Sharna, and I'm joining the trip from Australia.  So excited to meet you all!

Hello Sharna, pleased to meet you!  My daughter Claire and I are on this trip and really looking forward.  Have you done many walking holidays before?

Hello, great to meet you too! No, this is my very first walking holiday :) Have you done many? Have you travelled with Exodus before? Excited to meet you both!

No, this is our first walking holiday and first time with Exodus!  I am assuming you are not just coming all the way from Oz just for this trip?  Are you touring?

Is this is your first time in Italy?  It's my first visit to Europe!  I'll be heading to the Amalfi Coast for a week also, and spending some time in Rome before heading to LA for a friend's wedding.  What other plans do you and Claire have?

Well this year I cruised to New Zealand and spent a week in Auckland, I went to the lakes in Klagensfurt Austria in June with three day in Ljubliana and next weekend we're going to Amsterdam!  I have been to Italy many times and you will love the Amalfi coast but it is expensive... Rome has to be seen of course!  Claire is an influencer/blogger and specialises in the travel and hospitality business so she travels everywhere.  First time in Europe sounds heaven, for sure you will ant to come back.

Wow! You’ve had a huge year, you’ve gone on so many amazing trips already! I can’t wait to hear all about them over some wine and pasta in 6 weeks time!

Hello, My name is Lyn and I'm another Australian from sunny Queensland. Hi to my fellow Aussie, Sharna, and to Ron and Claire.

Only 3 weeks to go and I'm very excited about this walking and WINE  tour. Tuscany looks very beautiful. I'm a traveller, but this is my first trip to Italy.

Has anyone booked to visit the Uffizi galleries, and if so, what time slot do you have. I am interested in booking.

Thanks, Lyn

Hi Lyn, can’t wait to see you in a few weeks, the trip looks so great! I’m from Queensland too - where do you live? I’m on the Gold Coast. I haven’t booked a ticket for the Uffizi Gallery at this stage.

When do you arrive in Italy?

I live in Moorooka on the south side of Brisbane. I fly in to Rome with Korean Air on the evening of 23rd August and next morning will train to Siena and then bus to Castellina, and then hope to be picked up by the hotel service.

I have just purchased my Uffizi ticket for the time slot of 12.30 to 12.45.

LIke you, I can't wait to see Tuscany, and of course, sample their wines.
