Why Cycling in Iceland?

Iceland is perfect for a summer cycle. The roads are superb, exceptionally smooth tarmac, and yet they wind through some of the most raw, primitive and exciting landscapes on the planet.

Incredible Landscapes

You will pedal towards black ash volcanic summits, past steaming and hissing fumaroles and along sweeping coastal roads backed up against emerald hills topped with sugary snow.

You’ll get up close with groaning glaciers, cascading rivers and crystalline lakes. You’ll sleep in rustic farmhouses and mountain huts: forget the frills, there is no wifi here, but the views are off the scale.

You and your bike will discover eerie, black sand beaches, thundering white waterfalls and some of the most memorable sunsets you could hope for.

And what better way to ease any aches after a day in the saddle than with a dip in one of Iceland’s many thermal pools?

City Chic

Reykjavik could be the coolest capital in Europe. Cheerily painted houses line the streets, the striking graffiti has surprising artistic merit, and although the price of a beer could make your eyes water it's still one of the best places to indulge in a slap-up fish supper.

Take Me There
