It’s time for a New Year’s Resolution you’ll actually want to keep.

A new year, a new opportunity: it’s time to make a start on your New Year’s Resolutions. And, if like us, “travel more” is a common feature, then we’ve got some tips to make the most of your New Year adventures.

The only problem with ‘travel more’ is it’s a little vague. It’s harder to stick to than a more concrete goal. So here, we give our favourite ways to ensure travel is at the heart of conquering all your resolutions.

Bucket List Ideas

Resolution: Tick Off Your Bucket List

Trending Now: New Year Travel ResolutionsSunset over Angkor Wat

Always wanted to take that hot air balloon flight over the Masai Mara? Been dreaming of seeing Angkor Wat but somehow never quite gotten round to it? Thinking, one day I’ll see the desert; maybe next year I will finally visit Machu Picchu.

Pick one item off your bucket list, and tell yourself – this year, I’ll do it. Travelling with Exodus means someone else does all the hard work for you; the logistics, the admin, the research are all done for you, and your leader will be on hand throughout your holiday. It’s the hassle-free way to make it happen.

Resolution: Improve Your Fitness

Ease yourself into that New Year’s fitness resolution by getting your reward sorted! Use a challenging trip as motivation to get yourself going, and not only will you incentivise those early morning starts but you’ll have got yourself a built-in deadline and reward all in one.

Top Tip: We really recommend finding your local parkrun. These free, weekly 5km runs in local parks are brilliant for motivating yourself to get active and outside. In fact, we think they’re so good, we’ve decided to become an official partner – so you may meet an Exodus parkrun ambassador at your local event!

Resolution: Spend More Quality Time With Your Friends

Making the effort to spend time with friends is another regular resolution that seems all-too-easy to let slide. As the months slip away, unless you’ve set aside a specific time, you suddenly realise it’s been ages since you saw people.

Getting a holiday in the diary is a guaranteed week or two that you’ll spend quality time together.

Did you know? You can travel in a private group on one of our private adventures. So if you’re thinking of getting the band back together again, you can have the same Exodus group experience but exclusively with your own friends. It’s the ideal way to organise a reunion holiday with dates and activities to suit everyone.
