Botswana Wilderness Tour

Hi Everyone

I have booked to go to Botswana next July for the wilderness tour, has anyone been previously and have got any tips or advice? I have never done anything like this before so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Hi Gemma. I went on this trip in 2014 and it was amazing - best Exodus trip so far! I wrote a review which listed my suggestions. I did a few extra excursions: the flight over the delta (amazing view); the short helicopter flight overthe falls (spectacular but the short one was enough); there was also a short boat trip on the Chobe River that was packed full of wildlife including the elephants wading/swimming in the water. I recomend taking a washing line and pegs etc to do your laundry (some people didnt bother bagged it up and had it washed for them at the Victoria falls). Warm clothes for early morning drives e.g. fleece, hat, gloves, snood - they give you a blanket but until the sun comes up it wasnt enough. I slept in thermals when cold and then just removed layers as it got warmer! Adapter for South African plug.  Toilet roll, antiseptic hand wash and a couple of biros for filing in visa forms. Have a fantastic time. It is a really fantastic trip- saw so much wildlife, wild dog, loads of leopards lion pride killing warthog then wading through the water towards us. Mind blowing!
