Cycling Vietnam October 3rd

Hi , Bit of a way off as yet, but anyone else doing this cycling trip ? Lin

Siagon area very hot but a bit cooler round Hanoi.Cities awash with lowcc motorcycles [main means of transport]but you will get the hang of it quickly.Advise for crossing main roads in cities when on foot, once you start across keep walking at a slow steady pace and the traffic goes around you like huge schools of fish;this is really amazing in Siagon at the bus depot I have been twice once trekking and a few years ago cycling Coped well and food ok can be a bit the same but restaruants offer good variety.I found Exodus to be really good in Sri Lanka[cycling] so enjoy Vietnam.
.

Thank you Paddo, Love your description, sounds awesome, getting that tingling anticipation already, and I still have three months to go.

Nha Trang sometimes has parachute rides, they will come to your boat and offer rides at a price[bargain as a group if they do]I did for nothing as french bloke opted out.Ho Ani full of tailors who can knock up anything over night One girl on a trip I did had a fifties fashion book and got a few items made up.Dalat is more a town with french influences u will notice the french influence the more north hanoi etc interesting politics that isnt obvious but
they allow a market economy at the grassroots keeps everyone fed and happy.U will see amazing things and especially on the motor bikes from all manner of cargo not to mention more people than u can imagine on a single motor bike 6 was my record

Hi Paddo, thanks for your reply, Ha ha 6 on a bike .. Maybe I will beat your score. I was in Morocco 2 years ago for the Toubkal climb, I saw a guy with a sheep on a moped , but the funniest thing was two guys transporting a 6ft door, health and safety !!!! ... I would love a 40's coat it would be a right result if I managed to get one made. Again thanks for your insight, upped my excitement factor another notch x
