Taj Mahal question

I am looking at the highlights of northern India tour and it says about visiting the Taj Mahal at sunrise but dosent actually say about going inside. Does any one know if you do inside or just see it from the boat.

Many thanks

Hi Luke,

Absolutely, when you visit India with us you will definately be taken inside the Taj Mahal. All our trips that visit Agra go inside the complex, have a guided tour and some time to yourselves as well. It's a very special place to visit :)

Best wishes,

Katherine (India Product Manager)

We did that trip Xmas 2013 - it was foggy so we couldn't go at sunrise - but went later in the day. There are thousands of tourists - mostly locals - westerners are sent through a fast track queue when inside the grounds, so you get inside faster. Inside the Taj building you have to queue with everyone so you don't get a great view when inside - worth going to say you've been in though.
