Second night at Riad La Clé D’or
Leave the city as the road climbs into the High Atlas, villages clinging to terraced hillsides. At Cooperative Tawesna, share tea and lunch with women shaping new futures through traditional craft. At Aït Benhaddou, an exploration brings its mudbrick ksar (fortified village) to life with tales of traders and filmmakers.
Continue to Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate for an engaging session with a director or technician, revealing Morocco’s starring role in world cinema. Through this interactive encounter, you’ll uncover behind-the-scenes stories from major productions and discover how the desert landscapes have shaped cinematic history.
Arrive this evening at Le Berbère Palace, your ksar-inspired retreat of shaded courtyards and calm.
Overnight at Le Berbère Palace
Follow the ribbon of the Draa Valley through date-palmed oases and fortified kasbahs. Pause in the village of Nkob for a special lunch showcasing authentic Moroccan hospitality.
By late afternoon, trade the road for desert tracks, crossing rippling dunes by 4×4 to reach our Signature Stay, a luxury desert camp wrapped by golden sands and the enduring peace of the Sahara.
Signature Experience: As sunset ignites the sand, ride a camel through the desert as traders have done for centuries. Back at camp, enjoy storytelling of ancestral tales and an atmospheric dinner under a sky bright with constellations. The evening ends with a special stargazing experience and lesson on desert navigation.
Overnight at Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp
Today is your Signature Day, where you can select an authentic, curated experience to connect deeply with Moroccan culture. You could:

Second night at Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp
Depart the sands to explore the cooler canyons of Todra Gorge, where red cliffs rise sheer above a winding river.
Signature Experience: At lunch, we have a special invitation to join villagers near Tinghir for a traditional mechoui lunch, lamb roasted in the earth and shared together. Later, walk with a shepherd through terraced fields in Aït Ouffi, learning how mountain life endures through seasons of scarcity and bloom.
Evening brings the quiet luxury of our hotel, surrounded by the folds of the valley.
Overnight at Hotel Xaluca Dades
Travel north through a changing landscape of canyons, plains, and fertile valleys. Lunch awaits at Dar Rhizlane, a graceful garden estate where regional dishes are served beneath olive trees.
Continue to Domaine de la Roseraie in Ouirgane, a tranquil haven scented with roses and mountain air. As dusk settles, meet local elders who share mountain legends and visit a women’s weaving cooperative keeping ancient patterns alive. The evening closes with dinner amid orchards and rose bushes.
Overnight at Domaine de la Roseraie
Step into an Amazigh kitchen for a hands-on cooking class, baking bread in clay ovens and sharing a family-style lunch with your hosts.
Signature Experience: Later, visit a community-run tree nursery where elders and cooperative members share their stories of rebuilding after the 2023 earthquake. Together, plant a sapling that contributes to reforestation and supports the slow renewal of livelihoods across the mountains.
Return to Domaine de la Roseraie for a farewell dinner of regional specialties, wine in hand, stories flowing easily in the mountain air.
Second night at Domaine de la Roseraie
After breakfast, linger in the gardens one last time. The scent of roses, the taste of mint tea, the shared stories, each stays with you. Those with later flights may choose to unwind at the spa or enjoy a final stroll through the orchards before departing for Marrakech, taking your complimentary transfer to the airport.
