Mid-weight Graphic Designer

Exodus Travels is currently looking for a full time, permanent Mid-weight Graphic Designer to join our busy team in London with an immediate start!

What will you do?
As a part of the Acquisition Marketing team, you will help deliver online and offline marketing materials across multiple channels such as advertising, PR, social media, direct mail, and events. You will work closely with the marketing department, whilst supporting the wider business, with multiple client-facing projects and you’ll provide a consistent level of quality and design according to existing brand guidelines across all internally produced marketing material and documents.

You’ll be responsible for all in-house design including design and artworking of press and display advertising, internal company documentation and stationery, customer documentation, infographics, event flyers, agent posters and advertising, occasional product leaflets for distribution, and more. On a daily basis, you will be working alongside the acquisition team as well as the wider marketing department, supporting the content team with social media and email content, such as web and email ready images. At times, you may also be responsible for print management.

Who are you?
You have at least five years of professional experience—preferably within the travel industry—as well as excellent desktop publishing skills within the full Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. You’re a high-level Microsoft Office user—particularly of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher—and you are accustomed to working with content from colleagues. You’re a creative individual that can deliver concepts through to final artwork, who has a true passion for design and branding along with an acute understanding of how to make a brand identity come to life through many different channels. You can design for a range of communication platforms, from offline printing and documentation to web design publishing—not to mention animated display banners.

You genuinely care about the details—you’re a star proof-reader and you always ensure spacing, leading, and kerning are aesthetically correct—and you’re willing to go above and beyond to ensure you produce highest quality graphic design possible. You’re friendly and approachable, with an ambitious attitude and the ability to prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to your responsibilities, whether you’re working autonomously or as part of a team. Impressive organisation and communication is in your nature—you’ve got proven experience managing multiple projects at a time, establishing an effective work flow to keep track of upcoming jobs, works in progress, and completed tasks.

Previous experience with brochure production as well as using Lightroom and Final Cut Pro is a distinctive advantage, although not essential. Having a keen interest in travel—specifically adventure travel—is also desirable.
