Perched at the base of Mont Blanc, it’s the perfect place from which to soak up the spectacular mountain views and peace and tranquillity that this magical part of the world offers.

On our Chamonix trips, led by an expert guide, you’ll get off the beaten track and find the silence of the winter forest broken only by the 'swish, swish' of your snowshoes as you move quietly through the mountains. Keep your eyes peeled for deer, chamois, hare, fox and marten, native to the region. In the evening, cosy up in your accommodation and savour even more regional specialities: fondue and raclette. Although Chamonix is famous for winter activities, its reputation is growing as a centre for alternative adventure sports, summer walking and relaxation, too.
