Anyone out there?

Hi,

Someone out there must also be booked on this trip as there's only 2 spaces left!

I was just wondering a couple of things:

1. Is anyone taking Maleria tablets - my thought is no at the moment

2. Is anyone taking any cash (if so what currency?) or are you getting it out of the ATM on arrival?

Looking forward to the trip.......not long to go now

We are not taking Maleria tablets

Have not decided yet about taking cash

Looking forward to the trip

Hi,

I'm also on this trip. Stupidly I bought my Malarone tablets without checking first. Looking on the web I don't think we go to any malarial areas so I'll save them for another time.

I did the Exodus trip to Patagonia last year which started and finished in Buenos Aires, I took US dollars which are accepted in a lot of places in Argentina but you do need local currency as well. There were plenty of places in BA to change money but think we are there on Sunday so they probably won't be open. I didn't try the ATMs but others in the group did. I might try to get a bit of local Brazilian and Argentinian currency before I go, but I'll take mainly USD. Don't take travellers' cheques, there's a 10% surcharge for changing them. Don't know anything about Brazil.

Look forward to meeting up bright and early at Heathrow strikes permitting

Hi

I'm Tina I am also on the trip

I have got malaria tablets, my nurse told me it was best.

I have got some dollars, being a woman thought it was best as you never know when the shopping bug might hit me.

I am really hoping a bar will be open at Heathrow, hate flying. So if anyone wants to join me ......please do.

Can't wait .............................
