Kit List for Walking Holidays
It’s definitely worth spending money on getting the perfect pair! These quick-drying socks will allow your feet to breathe and help protect against chafing.
A good set of waterproofs (breathable and light)
The weather in the mountains can change very quickly so always keep these in your backpack.
Trekking often takes you up to a higher altitude, so it is vital to protect your skin from harmful sunrays.
A pack of Compeed (gel plasters)
Great for avoiding blisters, and for soothing skin when they strike!
A lightweight, waterproof and spiky hiking boot with good grip and water resistance will keep you on the move on any terrain.
Neckwarmer or buff
Handy and multipurpose, you can use this as a headband, sweatband or to cover your mouth when trekking through dusty sections of track.
Don’t forget – Exodus customers get 15% off outdoor kit at Cotswold Outdoor (discount not valid on sale items).
