January 10, 2018 Read time - 2 minutes Welcome to Chamonix, your home from home in the heart of the French Alps. It’s a walkers’ paradise, with no end to the maze of alpine walking paths that twist across the Mont Blanc massif. Exodus’ Mont Blanc Highlights trek has a winning formula: a beautiful alpine chalet in the heart of the mountains, within walking distance of Chamonix’s chic town centre, surrounded by world-class walking routes. You’re taken on a series of the best walks on the Tour du Mont Blanc, a greatest hits compilation of the iconic trail, with free time to discover the region under your own steam. Mont Blanc Customer Reviews For the last decade, we’ve been taking travellers to this region and every year it proves a success, with a steady stream of 5-star online reviews from previous travellers and frequently filling up through the summer season. Because of its enduring popularity, we’ve found a second chalet so we can treat twice as many people to these glacier-topped mountains and flower-filled valleys. As well as Chalet Chamonix, you can now stay at Chalet Chocolat – meaning there’s more flexibility on dates and less chance we’ll have to turn you away because we’re fully booked. Chalet Facilities After a day spent hiking these iconic trails, it’s imperative that you’re able to put your feet up in comfort. So we’ve ensured these two chalets are of the same standard. No matter which you stay in, you’re in for a treat; both chalets come with beautiful gardens and outdoor hot tubs, stunning views of the surrounding peaks, and easy access to Chamonix town – a 25-minute walk, or regular buses and trains if you prefer. Alpine chalet They’ve each got the classic alpine charm – wooden ceilings and communal areas complete with a log fire. The distinctive wooden gables and charming wooden balconies make a perfect retreat after a day's walks, where you’ll be treated to afternoon tea and a slice of cake each day. Blissfully uncomplicated, the serene setting beneath sky-high snow sprinkled peaks means you have plenty of time for the more important things in life – and you’ll still be able to see the best of the circuit without having to move on each night. Each chalet will host one group, with one leader. You won’t be crowded out. The two groups will enjoy the pleasures of the Alps separately, with no overlap, and no absent leader. The groups will run concurrently, and you’ll enjoy the same itinerary unaffected by the other group. And if you’re travelling with friends, no problem – just let us know when you’re booking, and we’ll make sure you’re in the same chalet and can enjoy your trip together.
