Kristen Whitla
Introducing Kristen
Trading Ireland’s drizzle for dry heat, Kristen spent years working as a writer and English teacher in Seville, Budapest and Hong Kong. She once stood for 48 hours on a train across China to see Harbin’s Ice and Snow Festival – and discovered that the stories about the people in the dining carts far outlasted the ones about the sculptures. With Exodus, she’s visited Machu Picchu in Peru, climbed Sigiriya Rock in Sri Lanka, trekked along the Camino de Santiago, and found the best roadside chai while travelling through India’s Golden Triangle. She’s happiest when sharing stories, from her own travels, from our customers, and from our experts who bring destinations to life.
