A game viewer's paradise, offering the best in wildlife and scenery in Kenya and Tanzania, plus time to relax on the exotic spice island of Zanzibar
From Nairobi we head into the Great Rift Valley: here the two parks of Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru are home to an incredible variety of birds and wildlife including the endangered rhino and elusive leopard plus, in season, a million flamingos. We include a walk along the Crater Lake and a visit to Elsamere, former home of Joy Adamson. In Tanzania we have spectacular game drives in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater using 4WD vehicles. From our base in Moshi we have a variety of optional visits including a challenging hike to Mongyoni Falls. Finally the spice island of Zanzibar is a tropical backwater, with white sandy Indian Ocean beaches, offering a relaxing way to end a fascinating tour.

| Day 3 | To Nakuru N.P. afternoon game drive. Camp in the park. |
| Day 4 | Morning game drive; to Lake Naivasha. |
| Day 5 | Crater Lake walk and visit Elsamere. |
| Day 6 | Long but scenic drive to Arusha. |
| Day 7 | 4WD vehicles to Serengeti and game drive. |
| Day 8 | Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti. |
| Day 9 | Morning game drive; continue to Ngorongoro Crater; overnight in a lodge on the crater rim. |
| Day 10 | Morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, a haven for wildlife; drive to Moshi. |
| Day 11 | Optional activities: visit Fairtrade coffee plantation, Mongyoni Falls, local villages or school. |
| Day 12 | Through the sisal plantations to Korogwe and on to Dar es Salaam. |
| Day 13 | Ferry to Zanzibar; three days on this beautiful island. Explore the old Swahili Stone Town, optional Spice Tour, diving, dhow trip and relax on the beautiful Indian Ocean beaches. |
