TNS - Annapurna Sanctuary

Anyone out there doing the Annapurns Sanctuary trip over Easter?

Hi Kev,

I'm doing it! Should be fun, tiring, awesome experience!

I shall be there too. Can't wait, Nepal is always spectacular !

Hi Candy / J,

Have either of you visited Nepal before? I do lots of walking the Peak District / Lakes - just wondering how strenuous this trip is likely to be!

Hi Kev,

No I've never been before, according to the info though the only really strenuos part is going to be the final ascent to annupurna sanctuary. If you walk in the peaks are you going on the main group flight or regional flight?

Hi Candy,

I'm on a regional flight from Manchester to Heathrow, and then joining the main flight there.

Hi Kev,

If you're basically fit and already walk regularly, you'l be fine, it'll be a breeze. Just look up and enjoy the view. I'm no Usain Bolt, you'll see, this is my fourth Nepalease trek. Anyway there is a cup of tea around every corner, and a beer can usually be found in the evening.

Maybe bump into in Heathrow.

Not Usain Bolt.

Hi Kev and J,

I shall meet you in Nepal at the hotel, I'm going from Mancheter - Doha - Kathmandu.

@Not Usain Bolt - thanks for the reassurance. Just a little concerned about a knee injury - I'm not quite as fit as I'd hope to be.

See you both in Kathmandu - not long now!!!

Hi I am going...I have been trekking in Nepal before and it's usually stunning. Re strenuous or not, if you have a bad knee bring poles and bandages for support as there are often lots of steps on the trails.
I have been caught out on a big project at work so the gym is a distant place.....we can keep each other going. That and the tea stops :-)))

Namaste I am Keshar Bdr. Khadka your tour Leader for this trip to Annapurna Base Camp  if you have any question then please fill free.
