The family-run accommodation has an onsite winery, where they produce an award-winning wine made with the young Alvarinho grape. Established in 1997, Solar De Serrade was renovated by the family and has been hosting guests for the last 20 years.The locally produced wine has won multiple awards, with the proprietor of Solar being a Wine sommelier himself. A batch of 150,000 bottles is shipped to ten different countries every year and there is a chance for you to purchase a bottle of the wine to take home.
