As summer makes a slow escape in Europe, October is an ideal time of the year to explore some of Europe’s most sought-after locations, as you’ll get to experience the beautiful autumn colours while also enjoying fewer crowds. Further afield, wildlife-spotting opportunities in Madagascar are great this time of year as lemurs are more active, while in Peru, trekking conditions are ideal and cultural festivals are in full swing in major cities.
Traveling during the month of October means there are fewer crowds, minimal rainfall and warm to moderate temperatures, making it a great time for a cycling trip.
