This was an incredible trip from start to finish, with some unforgettable memories. Our tour leader was Mohammed – a humble and lovely guide that was passionate about his country, people, and culture – this just enhanced the experience- and nothing was too much trouble. Our driver Ahmed (may have the incorrect spelling) was a careful and considerate driver, that went above and beyond too in helping the group. And Morocco – what an amazing country – steeped in history and wonder. Exodus certainly take you off the beaten track to some incredible and different experiences! Thank you so much!
Most Inspirational Moment

This trip was absolutely amazing, filled with colour, detailed information, ancient sites, traditional as well as modern Day of the Dead practices.
Most Inspirational Moment
The Day of the Dead celebrations in Oaxaca and San Christobel were the highlight of the trip

Edwin has a detailed historical knowledge which he could communicate in such a way to help us appreciate the art and technical skills of the various ancient civilisations. He was able to make distinctions between them and to show how they interacted pointing out aspects of continuity between them. He showed genuine enthusiasm for all the aspects of Mexican culture and enjoyed explaining them to us. He showed genuine consideration for any difficulties we might have had.
This was an excellent trip that I will forever remember. Our guide, Ayyad was exactly what you would expect; personable, knowledgeable and proactive. He is quite possibly the best guide I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 38 countries.
Most Inspirational Moment
In no particular order: A.. Jerash B. Wadi Rum C. Petra; and D. Dead Sea
Thoughts on Group Leader
Quite possibly the best tour leader I've had and I've visited 38 countries. He calm and personable demeanor coupled with his vast knowledge and decades of experience made this trip a huge success.
Great holiday from start to finish. Varied itinerary – I felt as if we’d covered a lot of ground & gained a good insight into the various areas/culture etc of Chile.
Most Inspirational Moment
Seeing the sun come up & from my bedroom window & shine on the mountains in Torres del Paine. It took my breath away.

Miguel was amazing. One of the best guides I’ve had anywhere in the world. He was very organised & made sure we were informed of the next days arrangements/timings the night before. Very knowledgeable on his country & imparted a lot of local knowledge as we travelled around. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
Advice for Potential Travellers
There were some very early mornings & long drives, although there are plenty of stops. There were 5 internal flights but these were well organised & we saw some fab scenery from the plane. The surroundings & amazing scenery make up for this.
Start to finish this was a fantastic trip. Our guide Clifford shared his deep knowledge of everything: animals and birds, trees and flowers, South African history and culture, hiking trail specifics and the smallest details about life in South Africa and Eswatini. Plus he was caring and kind and fun to be with. I really feel like I gained an understanding of the real South Africa because of Clifford and also the variety of experiences on this trip. We saw all the animals we had hoped to see, the hiking was challenging and extremely rewarding. The Drackensburg hikes were exceptional – scenery that is so beautiful that words and pictures cannot capture it. Even being there, on top of the “Amphitheatre”, the grandeur, the immensity of the views, were impossible to truly fathom. Wow.
Most Inspirational Moment
Being on top of the Amphitheatre - the massive escarpment that makes up the spine of the Drackensburgs.
Also, witnessing a pride of lions devouring a recently killed Cape Buffalo.
Thoughts on Group Leader
The absolute best we've ever had (of 7 Exodus trips).
Advice for Potential Travellers
The hiking is more challenging than "moderate", with technical aspects like crossing fast flowing rivers and climbing a 100 foot chain ladder up a cliff face.
Wonderful trip through a unique part of India. As usual with Exodus we had a great group of like minded travelers and a variety of things to see and experience. There was a good mix of urban and nature. Cochin would have been a lot better if the hotel was in Fort Cochin. Too much time was spend driving back and forth.
Most Inspirational Moment
The early morning walks through Madurai and the Manjira village were my favorites. It was beautiful to watch how the local people start their day before all the daily frenzy begins.

Vishnu was genuinely invested in our enjoying ourselves. He also became an excellent bird spotter once he realized some of us were very interested in the local birds.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Enjoy, take a camera. The local people are lovely and very welcoming.
Good selection of trips, well organised itineraries, great customer service.

Edwind was a brilliant guide. His experience & knowledge was faultless throughout the trip. He made sure everyone was happy, healthy & were enjoying themselves. He was sociable & encouraged the group to work as a team. He made us all feel safe & well looked after. His passion for his country & the history of it, showed in everything he did. Edwind made the difference between it being a great experience & an amazing one. A really great guy.
Having Khaled as our tour leader was such a joy. He tirelessly looked after us, made lots of great suggestions for optional extras and was a font of info with regard to any queries about Moroccan society and history. I particularly enjoyed the walk up the beautiful valley to the village and staying overnight in the Gite. It gave me a great insight into how people there live and enjoy their lives. We also really enjoyed our trip into the magical Sahara desert.

Khaled was a brilliant guide who raised the enjoyment levels of the holiday enormously. He is such an asset to Exodus and a positive force in the world
The trip was excellently organised and the tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the whole trip and having everything organised for us including transfers and hotels was exactly what I needed for this holiday.
Most Inspirational Moment
Camel riding in the desert and the music in the desert camping, walking through the Atlas mountains, Mosque in Casablanca, visiting Rabat

Lachan managed the group extremely well, especially through some challenging situations and personalities with some of the group not wanting to stick with the tour or keeping to times. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the questions we asked him, and all of the recommendations he made for food and places to visit for dinner and free days etc. were wonderful!
As always the accommodation was appropriate for the activity – good bedrooms, excellent food and comfortable common areas. The Guide, Mike was very knowledgeable about a very wide range of Spanish culture and history and shared that knowledge in an intersection and informative way.
Most Inspirational Moment
So many, the challenging walk along the Caminito del ray, to the tapas lunches and the walks through olive groves and woodland. Probably the main highlight was the last walk up Penon de Al Gametes.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Mike was always encouraging, he shared the huge wealth of information that he has about the area and its industry, the history of Spain and its place in the world affairs and the flora and fauna. He clearly is a well known and popular person in the local community and wider afield.
