An experience of a lifetime and one I shall never ever forget! Exodus and the African Walking Company were first class. Everyone received superb attention, help and guidance on the climb. Nothing was too much trouble. Some members of the group were ill however all received immediately attention and we’re professionally advised. Would highly recommend this trip. Plan your training well, take/hire the right clothing, do as the guides say – "pole pole", eat well and enjoy the experience. We Very proud to say that I made it to the top of Kilimanjaro!
This was such a wonderful trip – everything was better than I’d expected from how well we were looked after, to the scenery, the food and the cycling.
Most Inspirational Moment
Cycling downhill from the Hai Van Pass. Well worth the trip up there. Also drinking 50p ice cold beer in the hotel swimming pool on the beach after a particularly challenging day. Bliss.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Excellent. Long was attentive, professional, enthusiastic, hillarious and knowledgeable. A great guide and a loverly person.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Don't do this trip if you're a hard core cyclist and only want to power through to the end. Go if you want to enjoy the experience at the same time as enjoying some varied rides. I really valued taking a seat cover. I'd also recommend taking thin long sleaved tops and gloves. The sun was so strong and it was so hot that sun cream was pretty useless against the sweat. You need clothes for uv protection

I had a fantastic experience walking the wall. I cannot fault anything about the whole experience. From a great tour guide to great food and decent accommodation. I would do it again if I could.
Most Inspirational Moment
Getting to walk sections of the Great Wall was inspirational. Seeing the fantastic scenery and the amazing food!

Our group leader Kevin was absolutely brilliant.

The trip was a good balance of cycling and sightseeing. Although it was a shame we did not do more history of Thailand it was made up in Cambodia and Vietnam
Most Inspirational Moment
Cambodia the tour guides for the Killing Fields and S20 amazing stories dealt with so sensitively.

Mo was an excellent leader. She was always availlable to help no matter how small and managed difficult travellers with ease. I have been on many adventure trips, Mo was the most efficient, friendly and kept her excellent customer service consistant throughout the holiday.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Ensure you take the correct clothing for the visiting the historical sights. Visit the Chi Chi Tunnels they were excellent

IMPERIAL CHINA & YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE
A really busy three weeks of travel with so much variety. A very good overview of of such a vast country.
Most Inspirational Moment
It is difficult to choose. I think the Great Wall. It was worth the time spent travelling to explore the wall away from other tourists. It was in parts a steep walk, on a very hot day, but it was breathtaking.Another highlight for me was the Terracotta Warriers. Unbelievable.Yangshuo was such a contrast to the first two weeks of travel. Much more rural and very interesting. I loved the bamboo raft cruise. It was definately worth taking. And...I nearly forgot the Panda's!

Susan was really helpful and well organised. Had a good sense of humour and was fun to travel with.
Advice for Potential Travellers
It is not by any means a restful holiday. There is so much trravelling to do and so much to fit in. It is worth it though. The train for the third rail trip was not of a particularly good standard but I knew this from checking reviews. Do take a small travelling pillow and a sleeping bag liner would have been a good idea on the thrid travel.
Well organised and jam packed with sights and great experiences. Although I succumbed to the dreaded altitude sickness on the trek, the guides were great and with their help I managed to get to machu picchu, and all the sweat and tears was worth it.
Most Inspirational Moment
Sunrise at machu picchu, and being able to sketch there.

Great - assistant guide Ricardo was amazing when I wasn't feeling great on the trek and as being one of a few solo travellers on this trip I was always looked after.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Do take anti-altitude sickness pills with you! And buy sweets for the trekking!
