Thoughts on Group Leader
He did a good job with the group of individuals he had, was friendly with everyone and had time for all of us. His banter was excellent.

The expertise of the guide: speaking local language, knowledge of the area including history and geography. Pleasant, local hotel, clean, friendly staff and good food and wine locally sourced. Minibus drivers friendly too and one of them invited the whole group to his house for refreshments which was very generous of him. The walking starts with a tough walk to gauge abilities and then the rest of the time the guide was happy to tell us what and how to do including bouldering which was a first for me. He reassured people who were unsure and others in the group more experienced also assisted with the walking. The group had great camaraderie which was fun and the guide chatted with everyone no matter how they felt and lifted the mood if needed. He got on with everyone which makes a huge difference to the group. Sardinia was a beautiful country and we got to sample it at a level which was like being one of the locals.
Thank you for making this a fascinating trip and I look forward to travelling with Exodus again.

This was a very (very) enjoyable vacation. We have a good mix of personalities in the group who got on together and a great guide, Lina, who kept everything rolling. The mix of cycling and Baltic culture was the right balance and the sunny, warm weather, for all but the last day, showcased the 3 x Baltic countries at their glorious best.
The trip blended the cycling with city visits (inc three in Lithuania, Kaunas, Klaipeda and Vilnius), beach visit (optional swim), a boat trip, city tours, country sightseeing, supported with interesting history and facts, supplied by Lina. This provided an overview of a ‘hidden part’ of Europe, that was very enlightening, more so now, due to the Baltic states proximity and relationship with bordering Russia.
The hotels were all good standard and the local food ranged from good to delicious. During the days, we had the right amount of stops for coffee, ice cream, comfort breaks etc. Additionally, the local Baltic beer in all three countries is excellent, but be warned, pretty strong too.
Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania do have many similarities but are clearly unique. Personally, I came away educated & with a clearer understanding of the the history and politics of the region & I’m grateful for this
I highly recommend this trip – it was so good, I may even do it again!
It's difficult to choose only one, the variety of the trip provided plenty of memorable moments, but on reflection, I particularly enjoyed the tranquillity of cycling the excellent paths through the vast pine forests, with the sunshine poking through the trees, many times, purposely hanging back from the group with my thoughts or singing to myself. Mindfulness whilst cycling no-handed for the first time since I was around fourteen - don't knock it unless you've tried it, it's great!
Although I'd read the itinerary before booking the trip and a few times after that, like many people, I simply forgot most of it by the time I'd arrived in Estonia.. Therefore, I attach a lot of importance to being reminded of what is in store. Lina met us on the first evening in Tallinn and was clear on what the trip involved and her and our responsibilities, thus managing our expectations from the start. I benefited from Lina providing clear and concise direction every day and throughout the day, taking and answering any/all questions, not every trip I have been on was as carefully orchestrated. We (I) teased Lina that she was our (my) 2nd, 3rd and even 6th favourite guide in the Baltics, but I think I can speak for the group when I say that everyone thought Lina was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable, spoke faultless English, provided personal family stories, that on occasions touched the whole group and highlighted the contrast in the lives of people under Soviet rule pre 1991 with our pampered lives in the West. Additionally, there was never any doubt she was leading the group, she has a great sense of humour, limitless patience and was very likeable. If you read this Lina, you were really always my favourite guide in the Baltics.
I'd describe this as a cultural trip with some cycling, if you want big climbs, fast descents and your heart and lungs ready to burst, this is NOT the trip for you. If you want to broaden your knowledge of this extremely-interesting part of Europe and see so many different aspects of the three beautiful Baltic countries, whilst making new friends, eating 'new' foods (Georgina, Ubekistani, as well as Estonia, Latvian and Lithuanian), and sampling new experiences, this is a perfect way to do it & cycling allows you to see so many things. And if you fall for the myth that there are no plugs in the Baltics sinks, don't stress too much, I took one and brought it back, still intact in the packet. My main advice is :- Book this trip.
Our guide Carla was fantastic, she was extremely knowledgeable, and everything was well organized and planned out. The communication that we received prior to our departure was very helpful.
Duoro Valley
Carla was fantastic, she got along with everyone in the group and is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the things we saw. She also made a lot of great recommendations for things we could do on our own time.
The itinerary, and guide. The trip felt like 3 holidays in 1, the Amazon, the Andes and Machu Picchu followed by the cultural element at Lake Titicaca. All were very well organised and the guide was so helpful and clear on instruction that we all knew exactly what was required and expected. In addition, I was lucky to meet lots of new like-minded individuals.
Seeing Machu Picchu for the first time, and the hike to it. Whilst tough it made the arrival all the more special
Holger couldn't do any more to be better. He was attentive, quickly learnt all our names and helped put us all at ease. He gave us daily updates as to what would be happening when, and a clear outline of what we would need to help us each day. He was very patient when people asked questions (often things he had already explained). He was always positive and helpful and gave excellent recommendations for shopping, and food.
This trip was incredible – from our amazing guide, Aitor, to the fun group we got lucky to travel with, to the special itinerary itself, this tour is incredible from start to finish! If you have ever considered walking the Camino (or at least the highlights of it), then let this be your sign to go ahead and book it!
The walks themselves can be challenging, but along with your group and the motivation from the guide, you will feel accomplished by the end of each day and will wake up feeling ready for the next! Join this tour with the expectation of seeing so many scenic villages and towns, tasting different food, and getting deeper insight into how the locals live and work – as you will see all of this and more on this amazing trip.
Reaching the Cathedral in Santiago is a moment I will never forget, and one which I will be returning to do again in my life.
Reaching the Cathedral in Santiago with my group. Our tour leader stopped to give us a touching speech before we turned the last corner to go and view the Cathedral - it was an incredible moment!
Aitor was the perfect leader for this trip. He knew the regions so well and could provide so much extra knowledge and insight into everything we would walk past and see, also providing tips on where to enjoy our dinners etc. He was there to support and connect with each member of our group equally, and we all were sad to say goodbye at the end of the trip!
Just bring loads of pairs of good socks, so that you can change pairs in the middle of a walking day. Make sure your walking shoes are worn in before you travel otherwise the feet may get a little sore.
all the hotels were amazing and the staff always went ut of their way to help us, the whole trip was amazing I loved peru every area we went to was different
The trek to manhu pichu was amazing I could do it again, felt incredibly safe and well looked after by all the porters and chefs as well as our 2 amazing guides edwind and hever.
Edwind is the most amazing, caring, attentive leader I have ever had, his love and passion for his country and the history is the best. he is a big asset to the trips in Peru his organisational skills are second to none and would put most of my work colleagues to shame and I have made a great friend in him.
Our guide, Mohamed Id Balaid, was ace. He was very knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, kind, and accommodating. He took good care of the group and gave a very genuine, personal experience.

Met some amazing people and seen Beautiful areas!! The whole experience from adventures, people, culture, food, tour guide – Jamal, Bus driver – Siad was amazing. This was my 1st International Adventure and felt very safe with everyone. I will definitely be doing more International Traveling!!
Every part of the trip was amazing. Experienced so many different things within the 2 weeks.
Jamal was amazing. He always made sure we were safe. He is very knowledgeable, not just about his home area. Jamal made a point to communicate and learn/teach us/himself some language/culture.
Great trip, good organisation and a nice group of fellow travellers. Accommodation basic but adequate.
Our Group Leader actually got my wife on a camel!
Khaled was an excellent leader
Such a different holiday, the contrast between busy Marrakesh and the Amazigh village was incredible. Comms from Exodus were clear. Our guide, Mohamed Kassami was attentive, thoughful, informative and interesting. That he was actually from the viallage we stayed in was a real bonus and added authenticity.
Visiting Marrakesh- teeming with life The stillness of the mountain village and a glimpse into the lives of the Amazigh people Sharing their hammam Lovely, well guided walks where lunch was brought to us by mule! Our guide, Mohamed Kassami, grew up in the village. His knowledge and experience was so interesting.
Outstanding leader with amazing local knowledge. Attentive, patient, willing to adapt. Walks were well paced and well-judged. He is watchful and quick to respond. Very clear explanations. Mohamed loves his country and his village and wants the world to see and understand them
