Our tour guide Veriano was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the Amalfi Coast and provided historical background, best highlights in each town, as well as hidden gems, quiet back streets to avoid the huge crowds, must see sites and took great photos for us. He was so kind, calm, patient and had a wonderful sense of humor. The hotel was good, and very clean and the meals were great, the staff was very attentive and the drivers were all amazing on those many winding mountain roads.
Seeing all the places on the itinerary, meeting all the wonderful people on my tour, staying in a good hotel, having good drivers and a great tour guide Veriano.
Veriano was excellent. He shared lots of knowledge re the various towns, showed us the highlights, told/showed us about hidden gems, was very kind, patient, calm, humorous and made the trip so fun!
Good agenda, small group works well and Carla Costa a fabulous tour guide for Portugal. This was my third tour with Exodus and it served me well. Fun having Canadians, Americans and mostly Brits works well for language.
The highlights to me were the towns/cities we visited partnered with our Guide Carla filling us in on the history of that locale.

Transfer and tour very well organised. A variety of interesting stops which should appeal to young and old.
To see Budapest for the first time and a repeat visit to Plovdiv. Transylvania was wonderful.
Barni was extremely helpful in every respect. He went over and above the normal guiding duties. His English was excellent and he made the tour fun for everyone.
Everything ran smoothly on our tour and the food provided was excellent. The tour guide, Shane, and did a fantastic job to ensure our trip was successful, making sure we were comfortable, keeping us fully informed on where we were going, the times we needed to be at places and generally making sure we were enjoying the trip. He did a fantastic job telling us about Namibia, and showing us the wonderful sights, from the wildlife to the unique Namibian landscape. He was very knowledgeable about his country and he was interesting to talk to. Ruben, the cook, worked really hard catering for everyone and our various dietary requirements. He was an excellent camp cook. In fact we preferred eating camp food than at restaurants as the quality of Ruben’s food was so much better. On the tour we saw so much, but the optional extras did provide further insight into Namibia, its history and wildlife. Highlights were the day safari in Etosha national park and the flight across the Skeleton Coast.
Seeing the animals, small and large, in Etosha national park and its breath-taking landscape. The skies. At sun-rise and sun-set the colours were stunning. Star-gazing at night was phenomenal with great views of the Milky Way. Flight along the Skeleton coast. The location and tranquility of the campsites meant we got to experience some of the wildlife at very close quarters. The camaraderie between everyone in the group.

Our guide, Michele, was well-prepared for each day’s hike. He went out of his way to ensure we were safe and provided us with very interesting information about Sardinia’s culture, flora and food. He was also extremely helpful in terms of making arrangements for a private driver after the hike ended. I would hike with him again, and I would definitely hike in Sardinia again because of our positive experience this time.

I like that Exodus uses local leaders and suppliers, the content is always varied with a mixture of different activities/sights to see. Leaders are always very helpful in terms of individual interests. And the other travellers are always interesting.
Without a doubt the tour leader - Petras Staselis - who told us about his life under the USSR. I enjoyed travelling through the miles of pine forests and the local landscapes. The art nouveau buildings in Riga were superb, and the Plokstine cold war museum was fascinating.
Petras was very organised, lots of suggestions about what to do and where to go in our free time, very good at sharing his experience of life in the USSR and very knowledgeable about the history of all 3 countries.
Very enjoyable experience. Very varied itinerary. Excellent local guide. A lovely group of people. We saw almost all the species we had hoped to see in Costa Rica. The hotels and lodges were very good in excellent locations.

It was a relaxing escape cycling in a beautiful location, staying in unique accommodation annd with excellent attentive guides.
Many things - laughter and smiles in the group, Trulli village, swimming, delicious food, beautiful stone buildings and the overall relaxed atmosphere, Matera buildings including hotel built as caves in the valley sides. For me a big highlight was the cycling experience, saved by Leo and Sasa arranging an e-bike so I could enjoy the trip and keep up with the group.
Sasa was great. He created the holiday atmosphere, taking the stress out of everything and allowing us to relax and enjoy a great holiday.
This was the most incredible two weeks walking through Northern Vietnam. The trip offered the perfect balance of time in vibrant Hanoi and Sapa, while also taking us deep into the remote communities and villages of Ha Giang and the far north. Every day brought stunning scenery—endless rice terraces, dramatic mountains, and beautiful landscapes!
One of the highlights was how immersive the experience felt. We were the only tour group on the trails, passing locals going about their daily lives—working the rice fields, walking buffalo, or children playing between villages. It felt authentic, peaceful, and incredibly special. The food deserves a special mention, absolutely mouth‑watering! Every meal was a highlight, and the warmth and generosity of the people we met made the experience even more memorable. My most inspiring moment was being welcomed into a local family’s home, where they prepared lunch for us. Despite very limited shared language, we connected through laughter and kindness—it was unforgettable.
Our group leader, Linh, truly made this trip exceptional. He is hands down the best tour leader I’ve ever had on any guided trip. He was 100% committed at all times—constantly looking after us, sharing his home, his culture, and his personal stories of Vietnam. He went above and beyond every single day, and his humour added so much to the group experience. I genuinely can’t imagine exploring this region without him.

Loved the area and the guide was exceptional. He organised coffee in the village twice and a super tapas lunch at another village on our route. His knowledge was remarkable and he was extremely helpful.
Difficult to chose one in particular but loved being in the local community for coffees and lunch. All of the walks were lovely and at the level described.
Michael was an excellent leader. He worked out very early in who needed rests and always ensured that they had they had ample time for these. He set the pace to suit the group he was working with. His extraordinary knowledge of history, geography, flora and fauna of the area, the area geology, climate change effects, local communities, products grown locally, the walks were always described accurately each evening, what was needed, temperatures to expect, water stops, timings always spot on.
