A Trip for the Active
Nes Gard Farm is a fantastic place. The meals were fresh, healthy, and delicious. Each day we traveled to a new location for hiking. The people in my tour group were great – 8 women and 3 couples. Everyone was game for adventure and being active. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and very personable.
Most Inspirational Moment
The incredible landscape on every hike. It's too difficult to pick out one outstanding moment because each day presented a new aspect of Norway.

Group leaders were professional and attentive to individual needs.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Be prepared to hike on uneven terrain and smooth rock surfaces. Trails are steep and often slick. I was cardio fit but I did my conditioning on groomed trails. The glacier walk is very challenging. Gaitors are highly recommended to pants clean.

Rugged, beautiful but not always as described....
Not a great start, our flight was late ( absolutely nothing to do with Exodous) but I expect nothing less from British Airways, not sat together with my wife and no food to purchase on the return trip. So once again British Airways never cease to disappoint and if any future Exidous trip has nvokved flying with BA… I’ll go with someone else. It’s not the first time but it is the last when “Blooming Awful” spoil my holiday…. and then after being an hour late arriving the Exodous rep was another 45 mins late in Marrakesh!
Now for the good bit…. our guide was just brilliant. He had a great sense of humour, awesome local knowledge and unparalleled mountain knowledge. He brought an incredibly diverse group together and all 15 acheived the summit. Well done Hamid… we’ve nominated you for guide of the year!
And now for the final bit that Exodous managed to deliver…. the itinerary…. other than the start, finish and summit it bore no resemblance to the actual distances, locations, times or camps on the ground. It was worthless.
So would I go to Marrakesh again – probably.
Would I climb Toubkal again… definitely but preferably in winter next time
Would I use the guide we had again…. without doubt – he was awesome
Would I use Exodous again after 2 awful flight experiences and having to wait to be collected even after arriving late because of their choice of operator? No…. would I trust any itinerary from Exodous – never. As I have said in my feedbackbdirectly ( which no one has responded to even though 2 people read everyone apparently) …. I’ll stick with the smaller operators for similar trips that pay attention to detail and truly care for their clients and their experience unlike Exodous.

We would like to thank David for taking the time to provide us with feedback both on his holiday evaluation form (HEF) and in his review. Whilst HEFs are read by 2 members of staff, we endeavour to make it clear both in the email we send inviting clients to complete their HEFs, as well as at the end of the survey itself that due to the volume of feedback we receive, we are unable to respond on an individual basis to the comments our clients make. We do, as a result of this, provide an email address which clients are welcome to use if they would like to raise any specific concerns to our customer services team. We would like to apologise if you feel this could be further clarified, but we do hope this explains why we did not get in touch with you previously. We regret to read that your flight experience has reflected poorly on Exodus and that you did not find the itinerary outlined in the trip notes accurately mirrored your experience. This is the first time I can recall receiving feedback of this nature and I would like to sincerely apologise that you found the distances and camp locations to be incorrect. I intend to join a departure of this trip next month and will update the trip notes as necessary. I am glad that despite some disappointment, you found your tour leader, Hamid, to be awesome – Frances Spowart, Product Manager.

Absolutely amazing Amalfi!
I booked this trip at the last minute, bagged the last space and feel very lucky. The walking, the views, the history, the food, the wine and my group (the best ever 😉 and excellent guide Severio made this trip fantastic and unforgettable. So much is packed into this itinerary with the beautiful walking trails, stunning views, watching pasta, pizza and cheese making, walking with a volcanologist on the crater rim of Vesuvio, and guided tour of Pompeii. I felt fortunate to also take advantage of optional trips to Capri and Herculaneum.
Most Inspirational Moment
Walking the Path of the Gods. I just loved the views - breathtaking. The place where we stopped for lunch was charming and the food delicious. Finishing the walk with a dip in the sea at Positano was perfect.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Severio kept everyone highly entertained and well informed. He seemed to know exactly when we needed a break on our walks, made sure we kept hydrated. He would warn us and help us through any tricky parts of the routes.
Advice for Potential Travellers
The itinerary is busy. Getting around this part of Italy is not cheap if you're thinking of doing your own thing at any point. There's really very little time for shopping, which was absolutely fine for me but may be a problem for others. Definitely bring swimwear.

Excellent guide and very good itinerary
The riding was great. The leader knowledgeable and inspirational.
Accommodations were pretty basic – not much charm there.

It was inspirational to learn of the passion of the Baltic peoples to retain their recently won freedom. There’s a lot of pride and beauty in these countries.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Simon knows the history of the countries and also knows the terrain we were covering. He had a lot of great stories. Was fun to spend time with.
Advice for Potential Travellers
There isn’t much time on the trip to explore independently in the cities visited. If you’d like to do that, book extra time before and after the trip.
Also, unless Exodus adds another guide, be prepared to ride independently much of the time.

Absolutely amazing.....
This trip was an amazing trip – made so by the friendliest and most accommodating tour guide, great tour group, and beautiful trails and amazing food.
Most Inspirational Moment
I have done group tours before; this was my first with Exodus and honestly this was the best tour group I could have asked for. Everyone clicked and we all got along; didn't mind who walked next to us; Needless to mention, the Dalmatian Coast did not disappoint. I enjoyed the hikes, the chatting along the trails, singing, the picnics on the trails, the beautiful sea! Our van rides were very comfortable.
Thoughts on Group Leader
The tour guide Ivan was simply the best. He paid attention to each and everyone of us; listened to what we had to say, even when we just joked with him; made arrangements for dinners at some of the best local places. Evan sang "Marianne" along one of the trails to keep us entertained. If people had specific needs he took care of them too. I think future tour guides will have a tough time getting a better rating.

Mont Blanc Highlights
The Chalet & Food prepared by the staff was out of this world, it was very comfortable other than the form mattresses.
The Walk Guide was very knowledgeable & friendly; & the walks were of right difficulty but could been slightly longer on a few days.

Also Paragliding on a free day, its amazing.

Walking in Puglia & Matera

Fabulous holiday
The holiday was very well organised. At the beginning we were met by one of the leaders at Venice airport, who accompanied us on the coach to the hotel. The hotel was comfortable, excellent food, and friendly staff. It was really good to have two grades of walks to choose from. Both had a good variety of fabulous scenery scenery and mountain experiences. The two leaders were very helpful, accommodating, competent and knowledgeable, and worked hard to make our holiday so wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone who loves mountain adventures.

Very friendly and approachable. Knowledgeable about flora, fauna, geology, landscape and local communities. Very competent, skilled leader who worked hard to ensure that everyone was safe and enjoyed themselves.

A Fabulous week in the Picos De Europa
Excellent holiday in a beautiful area for walking. The walks were well organised and gave us a great introduction to the area. Importantly, the accommodation, the staff and particularly the food was outstanding. I thoroughly recommend this holiday.
