Had the most brilliant time with Ayaka in Japan. She is truly helpful, genuine, kind and goes out of her way to even arrange activities you might be interested in outside normal touristy things. Moreover, she has really really good taste in food, being a vegetarian, I must say I found Japan to offer some delicious veg. things that she showed me!! Thank you Ayaka, hope to tour with you again!!!

Great Trip. Hiking the wall was the highlight of this trip. The group got on really well together. The hotel hosts were great. Jerry the guide was fantastic. He knew his job so well. Great guy. The walking was tough at times. The extension to Xian was also good. I would recommend this trip.
Seeing how big and how long the wall really is.
Jerry was so good. He got everyone in the right place at the right times. He made the group feel at ease. This is my third trip with Exodus and he has been the best group leader I have had.
Hiking can be tough at times. There are a lot of steps to go up and down.
My first walking holiday of this kind was better than I expected. Well organised, great group of people and excellent leader.
Enjoying walking in wonderful scenery.
Vania was Excellent. Always had a smile.
The country is large, the roads are long and bumpy, however not an inch should be missed. Etosha and the dunes are particularly magnificent.
So many inspirational moments. Enduring image three oryx racing towards the dunes, leaving their perfectly formed tracks in their wake. .
Absolutely great, Not only with his driving which on a rainy day got particularly difficult but also with his perseverance in searching for the big photo ops. He was also informative with his tips regarding what we should be expected to pay for local crafts or even toilet fees. He has built a great relationship with local people to ensure the travellers can get the most out of their trip.
Make the most of the additional hikes and drives. I particularly recommend the 2.5 hour flight over the sand dunes which was absolutely fabulous not enough words to describe how extensive the desert is.
A guide book can only tell you so much and as I didn’t know anybody else who had been to Albania I really had no idea what to expect.
We had a fabulous tour guide, Edjon, which helped make this holiday one of the best I’ve done with Exodus. He knew everything about EVERYTHING Albanian and related the country’s history with knowledge and passion, and most importantly an understanding on long bus trips of when to leave his group in peace to doze!
The scenery is spectacular. I’ve never seen so many beautiful little churches and Gjirokaster and Kruge in particular were lovely.
Hotels and breakfasts were all of a good standard. None of the hotels had tea/coffee making facilities but all had hairdryers.
By day seven I still had money left from the £100 I’d changed into lek and that was after drinking wine with dinner every night!
It’s not all beautiful countryside, white stone buildings and UNESCO sites but so much of it is that it’s definitely a place worth visiting. I loved it.
Too many to name!
Far and away the best tour leader I’ve ever had.
Take a kettle
Our first Exodus trip, and first time in Mexico. Hugely enjoyed the experience, and saw so much more than we could have managed under our own steam. Nice mixture of ancient sites, colonial history and Mexico today.
Turning around at the top of the pyramid in Cholula to see the sun set behind Popacatepetl - magical!
Arturo was an excellent, knowledgeable and careful guide, who made the whole trip very special.
Keep a daily diary - you see SO much, it is easy to mix up your memories!
Although there was a lot of travel in the week, it meant we saw, and experienced much more of Morocco – a special country. It was such an enjoyable holiday, and I truly relaxed! The itinerary was well planned so that we did not get caught up in the big tour groups at busy times of day.
The highlights were the camel ride and camp in the desert, and the stay in the gite/hostel in the mountains (including the hammam!). The scenery was beautiful and peaceful.
Abdelhadi was a fantastic group leader - very knowledge and enthusiastic. He developed a great rapport with the group, which made the trip so enjoyable. I travelled on my own and the group dynamic to which he contributed, made me feel welcome, and never alone.
In Marrakesh, visit the Jardin Majorelle - but arrive before 9 am to miss the crowds. Don't miss the Berber museum there - it was a real gem!
Excellent from start to finish.
Great leader in Jose.
Hostal El Trestellador in lovely location with warm & friendly service. Meals were superb, home cooked traditional food, tasty and plenty to eat.
Hikes were enjoyable & challenging. We had great weather and views.
Nice day off in Altea, then pleasant barbeque that evening.
The hiking group were excellent and friendly, a pleasure to meet.
For me, it was the enjoyment I experienced throughout the full week.
Jose - great personality and leader with great humour. Great company to be with. Passionate about the area he works with good local knowledge. He's as good as it gets.
Worth training in advance for the hikes, you'll enjoy them better
An excellent taster of the country. Well planned with good locations
Meeting the owner michael Schnitzler of esquinas lodge. Such a wonderful work, he is passinate and inspirational about ecolgy.
Excellent ++.so kniwlwdgable and put on so many extra outings. Always helpful.
Long lightweight cotton trousers to keep the sun and bugs off. Don't bother taking posh clothes for the evenings. Just smartish will do. We used smidge during the day and onky used deet dusk and dawn. So much nicer on the skin and we did not get bitten
Excellent guide Severio
Good hotel except we all got sickness bug which must have been from the hotel. The hotel were of no help during this time Hotel duo torri
Pompeii and Vesuvius
Excellent
Train on hills
We would like to thank Christopher for his review, although we regret that he did not feel that the Hotel Due Torri assisted when members of his group were unwell. Having investigated the cause of the illness, we have found no evidence to indicate that the hotel was the source of the illness, but a number of measures were taken by Exodus and the hotel to prevent the spread of infection and we are pleased to confirm that these were successful. We remain very sorry, nonetheless, that members of Christopher’s group were unwell as we recognise that feeling poorly whilst on holiday is incredibly disappointing.
