Excellent tour leader. Great tour to introduce us to Oman, its culture and wonderful sites. Would have been more comfortable in a bigger bus. This along with the hotel to airport transfer failing to turn-up loses a star on my rating.

A comprehensive tour of the country, packed with activities and really memorable views of the fantastic wildlife
A sighting of the elusive Quetzal bird in all its finery.
Pablo was really knowledgeable and a pleasure to get to know.
Don’t think twice, go in the dry season and enjoy.
The cycling guide was amazing. The driver was very safe. We had an authentic experience. We loved the different scenery and the cycling route and challenge.
The cycle route and fabulous landscapes. The other travellers. The Tagine.
He was fun. Always explained the day well. Answered all our questions and requests. Very knowledgeable.
Cycling Southern Morocco was wonderful, challenging riding, scenic and beautiful, good food, nice, helpful and competent leaders. I enjoyed the local produce snacks of nuts and dried fruits. I didn’t feel rushed with my photo stops during the riding. The tour sweep was always waiting, to be sure no one was left alone. I enjoyed our group meals of authentic local cuisine- the dinner at the Auberge was the best! It was wonderful to have a small group, and get to know people from different countries.
Super nice and always helpful.
The guides, the scenery, food and a very nice group of fellow riders.
Our guides were all exceptional. So kind, helpful and informative going above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. I can’t rate Mohamed highly enough. He was outstanding in all areas. So kind, helpful and informative. Nothing was too trouble much for him.
An excellent, easy going bunch of fellow cyclists, appropriate challenge for me, great views and climbs with superb descents.
Excellent leader in all respects. Terrific technical knowledge about bikes, attentive and proactive in maintenance over 6 days
The wildlife viewing was very good – from the elephant herds in Amboseli, through the boat ride on Lake Naivasha, and on to Nakuru National Park and the Maasai Mara. It is a very busy trip. There is a lot of driving and the roads (both in and outside the reserves) were in poor condition. This meant an early start every day and not a lot of leisure time at the lodges. Having said that, the accommodation at all the lodges was excellent. The vehicles were in good condition with a roof that lifts to allow good game viewing.
Seeing Mount Kilimanjaro for the first time, emerging from the clouds on our last morning at Amboseli. We enjoyed seeing all the plentiful wildlife including over 100 species of birds.
We did not have a separate tour leader but rather two drivers for the two vehicles. The drivers were knowledgeable and took a lot of trouble getting us good wildlife viewing. We felt very safe with our driver who handled the amount of traffic and the potholed roads very competently.
Choose when you go carefully. We did not want to go when the wildebeest migration was happening. We thought we would be travelling just before the rainy season started. However, this year the rains came early so there was a lot of lying water in Amboseli, and we were restricted about where we could travel in the Maasai Mara. On the plus side, the lying water meant we saw a good variety of bird life.
We had an incredible trip. A perfect balance of cycling, nature, culture and relaxation. Our tour leader Ruwan and and his team were amazing , the whole thing was perfect…..
Reaching the top of the big climb day - a challenge but worth every drop of sweat 😁
Ruwan was superb- so knowledgeable, great organisation and crystal clear communication and a really nice guy to boot !!
Just go and do it / you won’t regret it !!
A lovely trip to this beautiful and varied island that mixes culture, history and lots of nature. Now more than ever Sri Lanka needs income from sustainable tourism and we’d strongly recommend it as a laid back and fascinating destination for anyone.
Climbing Sigiriya, cycling along the canal to a delightful lunch of many traditional dishes that you don't find in the hotel buffet, seeing elephants in the wild with their babies, walking Horton Plain and seeing the clouds drifting in below us at World's End, spending time at a farm.
Sujan was impeccably organised, great fun and worked hard to ensure the group gelled quickly. He has a great love of Sri Lanka and this came across in everything he did for the group.
It's easy to get cash from ATMs, the food was delicious and generally very good and varied for vegetarians. Bring plenty of light clothes it was up to 35C in March and a waterproof, because when it rains, it rains!
What a fantastic trip. Our tour leader, Ruwan and the support crew were excellent, with great communication and no detail overlooked. Cycling is a great way to enjoy Sri Lanka and was made all the better with visits to local family-run businesses and homes to really get an insight into the lives of the local people. There were also many opportunities to see a variety of wildlife and birds. The two weeks seemed much longer because we packed so much in. All in all, a great holiday.
Managing to cycle all the way up to the tea plantation on Day 6 and seeing wild elephants in Yala National Park.
Ruwan is an excellent leader with such incredible knowledge of Sri Lankan history and wildlife & birds.
Don’t be put off by the day cycling up to the tea plantation, as the support bus is there if needed or alternatively opt for an e-bike. Take some warm clothes for Nuwara Eliya as you'll need a fleece for the cycle down the following day and it can be a bit chilly in the evening.
