Cycle Colombia

Hi anyone travelling 10th November for the start of the Colombian cycle trip?

Did this ttip last November.Colombia in a word was spectacular. There are a couple of brutal days re climbing Buenovista and the climb to the mountain top village a few days later.A few observations 1each night u r in remote areas and often have limited meal choice at dinner so super markets can help eg snacks Plenty of food cycling try little parcels from support van energy boost 2Road side lunches huge and fun spectacular views but interesting choices at lunch stops3Towns great for finding a coffee shop etc eg SalernorRursl Colombia pretty laid back and seemed safe4Bogota on Sunday ride simply unreal5Staff brilliant Oscar Andres abd Gabriel plus driver and mechanic(our mechanic was a legend but may not be same)6Go at own pace even hard days are worth it Finally the staff are trust worthy and the kitty is worth it.Finally I chanfed money at airport on arrival two exchanges side by side the less flash one had better rates also on exit airport watch out for Uber driver options not the best Use actual cab taxi and have hotel address clearly written.I accidentky  used Uber was ok but guy got lost for a whileYou may ge on trabsfer list so may not be an issue Once again colombia was anazing

Town should be Salerno Forgot to mention Jeep Willees worth a ride and last word was Amazing

I will be flying from Amsterdam, arriving in Bogota mid afternoon on the 10th, with a transfer to the hotel.
