Just wanted to say 'Hi' to any fellow travellers planning to do the Jebel Sahro ride.

I used Exodus for the first time last year - did the Vietnam trip and the Dolomites, Lake Garda, Venice cycling ones. Both fantastic and made so many great new friends whom I have stayed in contact with and meet frequently.

Hopefully will make some new friends on this trip. I do a reasonable bit of cycling, but do a lot of spinning classes and a few toning classes.

Will be considerably fitter than in Vietnam where I struck up an excellent friendship with the support vehicle driver! A bit of an ephiphany after that one..

May need some advice from you all on the necessary off-road skills.

If you pick this up please respond, otherwise look forward to meeting you all in a couple of months.

Hi. just found your post and great to hear about your last trip. This will be my first with Exodus. To set the scene, I am retired and only started cycling 18 months ago to keep fit and for social rides with other riders in our village on the outskirts of Sherwood Forest. Last August my 10 year old grand-daughter persuaded me to take her to Sherwood Pines to hire mountain bikes and ride the family circuit. I was hooked and now have my own mountain bike. Since the Jebel Sahro holiday is suitable for beginners I thought I would give it a try. Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the group!
