Thai Indochina Grand Tour - 15th Nov 2015 departure

I am thinking about booking onto the Thai Indochina Grand Tour departing 15th November 2015.

It would be great to meet and talk to other travellers who are considering booking this tour or those who have recently returned from this tour.

Hi Gemma.
I've just booked on this trip. I'm really looking forward to spending time in this part of the world.
Having travelled with Exodus before and having read the reviews of this trip, I know it'll be great.

Hi Nuala,

Are you travelling alone or with a friend/partner?

I haven't travelled with Exodus before so not entirely sure how it will compare to the Gadventure tours I have done in the past?

I haven't been on here for a while.
I'm going on my own. There's usually a mix of couples, friends and people on their own.

I am a lone traveller also. I went on the grand China tour a couple fo years ago travelling again on my own and it was brilliant. This kind of trip if similar is ideal for people wishing to travel on thier own

Hi Nuala & Wendy,

I am now booked onto this trip and, no doubt like everyone else, am counting down the days until departure.

Are you both doing the group flights? I have booked my flights with BA as the flight times worked out better.

It is great to know that we do not need to worry about a visa for Vietnam now either. Just vaccinations and malaria tablets to be sorted - ouch!!!!

Thailand is known for its unmatched beauty and its one of the choicest honeymoon destinations for hundreds of people all around the world. Click to find customer-friendly car hire services, so that you may enjoy exploring the attractive locations with complete ease.

We did this trip December 2014 and absolutely loved every minute of it, so much to see and do and some amazing experiences along the way. If you haven't already booked, just do it!!

We made some great friends and 10 of us still stay in touch.

Great to hear such positive comments Nikki.
I'm not on the group flight Gemma but on flights organised by Exodus. I live in Manchester, so it worked out much better for me than going to London to join the group flight. We'll all meet up in Bangkok. You're right Wendy, these are the perfect type of trip for lone travellers, I've done a number of them.
It'll be fabulous.

It is advantageous to hire a car while planning to cover a long distance journey, as it helps preventing wear and tear of personal vehicle. Therefore, I decided to book a car rental through so that it helps enjoying the family tour to the fullest.

i am also flying out of Manchester with KLM, worked out better and again did not want the long journey to London. Can anybody advise what they have discovered about the malaria situation, it appears that not all parts of the trip need protection but day 3 - 11 and day 20 - 24, does anybody agree and if so or not so, what tablets are you taking and for which part of the journey. I know that all require you take after return as well so just confused abit, i.e. will the 4 weeks after cover the 3 days in southern Vientnam etc., any thoughts at all will help,t hanks

I would love to explore Thailand as I have heard a lot about its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
