When you don’t just want to observe wildlife, you want to be part of it, join this immersive safari adventure in South Africa’s legendary Kruger National Park. Here, we stay in tented suites during the dry season, when the vegetation thins and animals congregate around waterholes – the ideal conditions for wildlife watching. During the day, join expert guides to scour the bush for iconic safari animals; at night, dine under the brilliant Milky Way, before falling asleep in a glamping-style canvas tent to the sounds of the savannah.

Johannesburg Johannesburg

Begin your adventure in Johannesburg – Jo’burg or Jozi to those in the know – a dynamic city where history, culture and creativity meet.

Around 7pm, say howzit to your tour leader and fellow travellers, when we gather as a group for the first time to get to know each other and learn more about the adventures ahead.

Your tour leader then ensures a big South African welcome by arranging dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Kruger Safari Highlights – Premium Adventure

Rise early today for breakfast then, after a brief group meeting, we leave by coach at 8am.

Our 5hr 30min journey (with a break for lunch) takes us to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, at the base of the Drakensberg mountains. Here, we join one of their specialist guides for a one-hour tour, learning how they work rescue and rehabilitate injured and poisoned animals for release back into the wild.

After, we complete our transfer (2hr 30min) and enter Kruger National Park. Upon arrival, settle into our safari camp, taking the evening to get in tune with the savannah, gathering around the campfire and, if the conditions are right, gazing up at starlit African sky.
