Also, when I booked this trip, the Casablanca -> Ouarzazate flight was full on the 26th, so I decided to fly to Ouarzazate on the 25th and take one day to visit the town.

Hi, yes, I'm travelling alone.  First time I've travelled with Exodus but a friend of a friend did this same trip and loved it so here I am!  I'm flying out from London on the 26th, did you book your flight through Exodus Annette or are you making your own arrangements?  Good reminder about the jabs, must get mine booked!

Yes, were flying with exodus - travelling down from Sheffield, probably the same day as the flight isnt till late afternoon. Im glad your friend enjoyed this trip. Since we booked we've found many people who have told us that they know friends or rels who travel every year with exodus, and all give great reviews of the trips. ( Theres also just as many who think we're mad when we describe the trip - "what, call that a holiday?!") Cant wait!

I'm also travelling alone. This will be my third trip with Exodus but my first time to Morocco. My previous trips with Exodus were really great and I'm sure this one will also be very enjoyable.

Today, the trip status changed to "3 Spaces left". This probably means we are 13 booked on this trip for the moment.

Ok, im getting exited now, although the concept of travelling light was fine untill I actually started packing! Just one worrying thing, has anyone got their tickets and joining instructions yet? I have an email saying there was a delay, but departure is getting pretty close now!

I got an email yesterday with my joining instructions - which was a relief as like you I was concerned about the delay.  I've just started writing a list of things to take - may struggle with packing light too!  I've been advised to pack at least three times, each time taking out anything that isn't completey essential.  What are you doing for Moroccan currency?  I've read that you can only get it in the country but can't decide whether to take Euro's or Dollars to exchange when there, or whether to get cash out when I arrive.  I've also been advised to take Euros for the airport stop-over in Casablanca on the way out.  Are you flying from heathrow Annette - would you be interested in meeting up at the airport before we fly?  I'm getting a train down from Newcastle that morning - fingers crossed there'll be no delays and I should have plenty of time. 

Hi, Louise. Yes, just got my own joining instructions through too, and also managed to figure out how to get a photo here (not very computer minded!) Glad youv reminded me about euros, although didnt know if good old sterling would be ok. My brother also kindly gave me some dirhams left over from his holiday to start me off. Had already thought of asking if you wanted to meet up at heathrow - we're also traveling down on the day, getting in quite early, about 1300 i think. If you want to email me at annettecox_01@hotmail.com ill give you my mobile number so we gan get in touch. As for packing, I think Ill try and take out some stuff- no idea what. My sleeping bag is quite big and wont fit in my backpack, so takes up half the room in my holdall, I also wonder how cold it will be at night - always tempting to take an extra fleece ( or two!!)
