Late getaways departing in July

Summer is officially in full swing, and temperatures are nearing their peak all over Europe. So, this may be the perfect opportunity to escape the heat and explore the continent’s incredible mountain ranges, in Bulgaria or Spain. If you’re thinking of heading further afield, why not consider a sun-soaked trip to the Indian Ocean for a tropical ride along the back roads of Sri Lanka? When it comes to wildlife encounters, the month of July is a great time to visit the Okavango Delta in Botswana, as it is in full flood, attracting African bush elephants, giraffes, lions and more to its banks, which makes for incredible sightings. So, what’s stopping you from booking a last-minute getaway in July?

Mountain ranges across Europe are cooler in July, but still enjoy lots of sunshine, making it a great time to explore off the beaten track.
