TSQ Picos Peaks dep 19th Sept

Hi Debs,

I am also on this trip.  The weather reports I have seen look variable with rain this week but better next week.  The only problem is that the nearest reports I have found are from Santandar on the coast, not from anywhere in the Picos.  Hopefully the ski wear will not be required.

I am travelling from the south; so not much sense in a lift share with me.

Mountain weather is likely to be pretty different from coastal; will hope for some nice dry, sunny days but take kit for everything, as per usual for the UK!

Are you travelling from Stansted? I'm flying Ryanair to Santander 15:05, we could meet up in the airport if you're there the same time?

Debs, i'm travelling down from Matlock in Derbyshire.  Not sure what your route is, but if it cuts across mine then it would be good to travel together.  I could join you at a mid point.  Otherwise not to worry, I have a very kind relative who has offered to drive me down.......

Hi Debs again!  Just noticed that although you are going from Stanstead you are going from a different airport and different time to me - so not much point in sharing a lift as i'd miss my plane!  See you at the hotel.

What a shame we can't travel down together! I was too late to get on the Easyjet flight - think we might meet up on the transfer, but if not at the hotel. Saturday night get together in the bar is sounding like a good idea already!

Prob with holidays is the stress of doing everything necessary before you go! Am really looking forward to being away, but got loads to do before then..

I am going from Stanstead on the Easyjet flight.  I think it leaves earlier than yours.  So I will probably see you at the hotel.  Are you staying in the overflow hotel (the main one was full when I booked)?

Debs - know what you mean about trying to get everything done - i'm so looking forward to getting on that plane and abdicating all responsibility!

 Rob / Debs - didn't know there was an overflow hotel - are we going to be a big group then?  Look forward to meeting you both on Saturday.

I thought I was going to be the only one in the overflow hotel, so I reconsidered booking the trip, but I found out that some others were also there and we will all be together most of the time anyway.  I think it happens depending upon the number of people wanting single rooms.

 Katey: I will try to spot you at the airport.  It is not normally too hard.  I will be there round about 10am.
