Vioetnam Adventure Departure 11th September
Hi there. I've just booked to go on this trip and am soo excited as it's my first adventure holiday after spending the last 20 years going on beach holidays with the kids. I'm travelling with my friend Linda who visited Siagon during the Vietnam war so she's really looking forward to seeing how it's changed. We're flying independantly via Bangkok as there were no cheap Malaysian Airlines flights left.....I'm not looking forward to the long flight but I've got my sleeping tablets ready! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

We are flying out from Heathrow on Sept 11th. Really exited about this. Neither of us have ever visited Vietnam. Does anyone know about the culture issues regarding women wearing shorts for the cycling?
Hi gang. We have just joined the tour earlier this week -- talk about a last minute decision! We are from Vancouver Island (west coast of Canada) and really looking forward to the trip. We are leaving on September10th and flying through Hong Kong. We have an 11 hour stopover in Hong Kong, so we plan on taking a tour there during the day. We are arriving into Hanoi on September 11th and spending one extra night to help with the jetlag. We are in our mid-50's and have travelled lots, but never made it to Vietnam. Looking forward to meeting all of you soon!

I am travelling on this Tour and when I booked in January I was the only passenger! the Tour was however guaranteed.
I would like to hear from anyone else who is travelling on this Tour.
If you are coming from some distance to Heathrow, I have booked a room at the Travelodge Heathrow Central for £19.00. A good offer so you may find this to be a satisfactory overnight stop.
I am travelling out independently on Malaysian Airlines flight MH003 departing LHR at midday on the 11th September.
