Walking in Andalucia -
Trip - TDS - WALKING IN ANDALUCIA, Departure Date - Sunday 28th March 2010

Hi -

Anyone else booked on this trip?

Lucy

Hi Lucy

I have just booked this trip today (Saturday). It is my first trip that I have booked with Exodus and like most first timers, I was/am a little apprehensive but I am hoping that it will be relaxing as well as fun at the same time. I am 44, I have been looking at treks/walks abroad for a few months now and though I had a few days abroad last year with friends, it's been a while since I have travelled abroad on my own, it would be great to do something a little different.

Hi Martin,Glad to hear that -

Hi Martin,

Glad to hear that there'll at least be one other person on the trip!  In fact, I think when I was last in touch with Exodus there were about half a dozen people booked on it or interested - maybe more by now.  Yes, I too am a little apprehensive about going on holiday on my own but also looking forward to it.  I'll be leaving my children at home for the week so that in itself will be hard, but they'll be in the safe hands of grandparents, and hopefully they'll appreciate having a refreshed and relaxed mum back at the end!  Am really looking forward to seeing more of Andalucia (I was there years ago and loved it) and to being in what I expect will be stunning scenery.

TDS - WALKING IN ANDALUCIA -

Hi Lucy

I checked this evening and it now appears that there is only one space left. It looks like this one may be quite popular, but at least the groups are kept quite small from what I understand. As you have mentioned, I think one of the outstanding things about this trip is the scenery and admittedly, I know very little about the area as I have never been before. It certainly looks like there will be plenty to see, if not breathtaking at the same time. I am hoping that it will at least be a little warmer than it is here as it would be great to see a few hours of sunshine if not more. It sounds like it will be just the break that you need, as I'm sure being a parent is never easy, not that this is something I can claim to know, being a single guy, but your children will be glad to see you and hear about your trip when you get back home.
