A superb canoe and walking safari in the Zambezi Valley

This is an exciting trip designed for those wishing to encounter the spectacular wildlife and incredible scenery of Zambia in as intimate and active a way as possible, with time spent travelling by canoe on the Zambezi River as well as safaris both by vehicle and on foot. The mighty Zambezi is an excellent location for a canoe safari.
Camping out on secluded beaches, the days are spent relishing magnificent scenery and abundant game while passing the ever-present basking crocodiles and hippo pods.
Off the water there is also plenty of time for game walks and game drives to experience the diverse wildlife and remarkable scenery of this region.

What makes this trip responsible?
Exodus has been supporting community projects in Zambia since 2007 alongside our charity partner Baraka Community Partnerships, which is run by Exodus Tour Leader Andy Mckee. Most of our projects are biased towards children's education and we support a number of community schools that we visit regularly on our volunteer trips. On this trip you will have the chance to visit Mangurumeno school on the banks of the Zambezi that has recently been adopted by Exodus as a project. Our long term aim is to help the school generate income to enable a sustainable future and we encourage all our clients to bring supplies to assist the school in its day to day activities.
