- Explore the magnificent Drakensberg mountains
- Discover the wildlife of Kruger National Park
- Cycle through forests, waterfalls and canyons

This breathtaking panoramic route combines the superb mountainous scenery of the highest mountain range of South Africa with the incredible wildlife of Kruger, one of the largest game parks in the entire African continent. Often referred by the Zulus as 'barrier of spears', Drakensberg forms a natural border between Kwazulu Natal and Lesotho, 200km from end to end and reaching as high as 3400m. From the saddle we enjoy breathtaking views, while we ride through scenic mountain passes, occasionally stopping for a refreshing swim in the waterfalls.
The Golden Gate National Park is named after the golden shades reflected by its spectacular sandstone formations and it is home to an incredible array of mammals and birds. Through curious rock formations, abandoned gold mines and forested regions, we arrive at Kruger N.P., a world renowned game reserve that offers unsurpassable safari opportunities. We park our bikes for two days to observe the beautiful wildlife before getting back on the saddle to explore Blyde River Canyon, considered the largest green canyon on earth. The colour of the subtropical plants beautifully contrasts with the red rock formations and the famous Panorama Route rewards us with the last views above the escarpment.
